What we collect

When you register, we collect your email address and account details, including your name if provided. As you use suppio, we store the location or suburb, household size, schedule, budget, dietary preferences, foods to avoid, kitchen inventory, meal plans, shopping lists and saved meals that you provide or create.

We also receive information about your suppio Plus subscription and payment status from Stripe. Payment card details are collected by Stripe at checkout, not entered into suppio’s meal planner.

How we use it

We use this information to create and save personalised meal plans, suggest nearby stores, prepare shopping lists, run your account, manage subscriptions, provide customer support and protect the service. Store suggestions and estimated prices may involve automated processing of the preferences and location you provide.

Marketing emails

New accounts receive a welcome email and are enrolled in weekly meal-planning tips and promotional messages. You can stop the weekly emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each message. Account and service emails, such as verification or password reset messages, may still be sent.

Advertising and browser data

We use Google Ads tracking to measure visits and actions such as registration and subscription checkout. Google and your browser may use cookies or similar storage and identifiers for measurement. You can adjust your browser’s cookie settings and Google’s advertising preferences. Disabling them may affect measurement but not your ability to read this policy.

Who receives information

We use Base44 to host the app and manage accounts and data, Stripe to process subscriptions and billing, and Google for advertising measurement. These providers process information to deliver their services. Information may be processed outside Australia, depending on the provider’s infrastructure; we cannot specify every processing location. We do not publish your personal meal plans for other users to browse.

Storage, access and correction

We keep account and planning information while needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it when no longer required. We take reasonable measures to protect it, but no online service is completely risk-free. You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask about deleting your account and associated data, by contacting suppio.

Privacy concerns

If you have a privacy question or complaint, contact suppio and explain the issue so it can be reviewed and answered. If your concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above shows the current version.
